Reject sections are integrated within conveyor systems and has the objective of removing products that have been rejected from the line.
Depending on the type of conveyor system, two technical developments have been created:
1/ With regard to belt conveyors
Through the automatic retraction of the end of the belt conveyor that ensures products fall through the hole created due to this. Such a component is also referred to as a "reject belt".
2/ In relation to roller conveyors
Through the pneumatic activation of a folding section to the top or bottom that ensures that the product is conveyed under the conveyor belt gravitationally when returning.
3/ In relation to slat or belt conveyors
Through the activation of pushers that reject products off the conveyor.
The activation of such reject sections is driven automatically through sensors, visual technologies, checkweighers, metal sensors, etc.
Through the pneumatic activation of a folding section to the top or bottom that ensures that the product is conveyed under the conveyor belt gravitationally when rejected.
